The Kings Are Humbled (Daniel 4:1-5:31)

Phill Howell, January 20, 2019
Part of the Daniel series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Today's message covers chapters 4 and 5 of Daniel. Two stories about proud kings, but with two different outcomes. This message covers two big ideas: 1) Their Problem and Our Problem Is Pride; 2) Their Solution and Our Solution Is Humility. Under big idea number one we considered two ways that pride was the problem. First, we saw how the kings put their trust in worldly wisdom instead of God's word. Second, we considered the ways these kings committed cosmic plagiarism.

Scripture Readings:
Daniel 4:34-37
