Jesus, He IS the One (Matthew 11:1-6)

Phill Howell, February 17, 2019
Part of the The Gospel According to Matthew series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Today's message resumes our church's series through the gospel of Matthew. Starting in chapter 11, Matthew provides a series of stories about people's responses to Jesus. The first response is from Jesus' cousin, John the Baptist. John the Baptist is in prison and he is doubting whether or not he should be trusting in Jesus to be the Messiah. The message outline follows two simple points: 1) John's Question is Everyone's Question and 2) Jesus' Answer is Everyone's Answer.

Scripture Readings:
Matthew 3:1-12
Isaiah 61:1-4
