Jesus, Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-14)

Phill Howell, March 10, 2019
Part of the The Gospel According to Matthew series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The next message in our series through Matthew's gospel focuses on two stories about that sabbath. Jesus' response to accusations of breaking the sabbath is profound, complexing, and eternally helpful. In this message we examined three ideas: 1) We Need the Sabbath; 2) We Need the Lord of the Sabbath; and 3) How to Get them Both.

Scripture Readings:
Mark 12:28-34
1 Corinthians 15:3
1 Samuel 21:1-6
