The Church, Pt. 3: Gospel Hope (Ephesians 1:15-23)

Phill Howell, April 21, 2019
Part of the The Church series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Our final message on "The Church" focuses on the the beauty and glory of the diamond, Jesus Christ. The goal of this sermon series has been to see how the church upholds the diamond of the gospel and that Jesus Christ's life, death, resurrection and ascension are the diamond. The passage we considered was Ephesians 1:15-23 and it is an explanation of the ways Paul is praying for the church in Ephesus. Through hearing what Paul prayed for we learn how we can pray for the church. Therefore, this message urges us to pray that the church would know: 1) The Hope; 2) The Inheritance; and 3) The Power.
