David serves as a Pastoral Resident at Embassy Church, a two-year role focused on preparation for vocational pastoral ministry. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, David moved to the area to attend Moody Bible Institute, where he graduated and met his wife, Hannah. David and Hannah have one son, named Shepherd. He is currently pursuing an M.Div. at MBTS and holds a certificate on preaching from the Charles Simeon Trust’s Chicago Course on Preaching. 

David oversees the Kidz, Student, and Welcoming ministries, teaches the men’s Bible study, and co-leads a community group, and preaches occasionally.  David and Hannah, are committed to magnifying Christ with all aspects of their lives.
