A Word on Deacons 

At Embassy church, the role of Deacon is a service-oriented ministry designed to support the health of the congregation and the work of the Elders. In accordance with the principles found in Acts 6:1-6, the office of deacon is not a position of spiritual authority or governance. Instead, it is a role of dedicated service. Deacons and deaconesses are recognized members who meet the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:8-13 and are chosen to help the church function smoothly. Rather than acting as a governing board, each diaconate position is created to meet a specific, practical need within the church. This allows our deacons and deaconesses to focus their talents exactly where they are needed most.
