Originally from South Africa, Etienne served as an elder at Evangelical Christian Church of Dubai for eleven years before relocating to the United States. He and his wife, Kate, have four children and lead a community group and serve in the music ministry. Professionally, he is a quantity surveyor and construction consultant. Etienne is dedicated to shepherding the local body and seeing the church grow in love for Christ and His Word.
