Born in the Philippines, Matt immigrated to Kentucky in 2003. He met his wife, Esther, at the University of Louisville before earning his M.Div. from Southern Seminary in 2015. After serving seven years as a youth pastor in Dubai and two years as a pastor in Indiana, Matt and his family joined Embassy Church.

Matt serves through regular preaching, overseeing community outreach, and co-leading a community group. He is involved in personal discipleship and cares for the church body through various aspects of pastoral ministry. Matt and Esther have three children and a passion for seeing the gospel unite people from every nation.
